# Google Review: Varraco Coffee RoastersGem of a coffee shop! Varraco roasts their beans in-house and it shows in every sip. Great music, small amount of seating, and a solid bakery selection including some healthier fruit and granola options. Perfect spot to enjoy quality coffee in a relaxed setting. A refreshing alternative to the usual chains!

I got the Varraco Latte and it was so rich; so smooth; the froth on the top was so thick and creamy. It was not bitter at all!! This is a small and cute Filipino cafe that you should try, if you’re into coffee! Their coffees are different, which you can taste. They also have good pastries. Nothing special about them; they’re pastries; they’re tasty. I tried the cream cheese danish and it was good, but it wasn’t anything special. BUT!!!! The COFFEE, which is why you would go here, is absolutely fantastic. It’s right up my alley, so I recommend it!

Anniversary weekend, we found a Filipino owned coffee shop called Varraco Coffee Roasters in Palm Dessert. I had the Iced Ube Latte and my wife had the Iced Brown Sugar Varraco coffee. Varraco comes from the word Barako which is the Liberica coffee that you’ll find in the Philippines. The Ube Latte was a dark roast, which was a little too bitter for me, but the Brown Sugar was a perfect blend. My wife tells me that Batangueños love their coffee dark roast and they put it on their rice for breakfast.

Incredible coffee & pastries!! Returned two more times to try more! Great customer service- super friendly and took the time to recommend and explain the different pastry and latte options. Very cool vibe.

We got a recommendation from staff at the resort where we stayed, and Varraco did not disappoint. I’m always on the hunt for a fabulous Oatmilk latte and Varraco delivered. If the wait to order is any indication, this is a fave local spot. They roast on site and have a well rounded menu of drinks so check it out.

Feels like a coffee shop designed with passion. The functioning roaster on display as you walk in and the contemporary decor instantly confirms that you found your coffee spot. The flat white, short, with oat milk was delicious.

Very nice coffee spot here! Coffee was very good, and the service was solid. Plenty of parking out front. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Not the coolest shopping block, but worth the stop just for the coffee! Pretty quick…They def have a strong following and vibe! It was jammed in there with folks eating, working, and picking up.They were roasting in the front. Very cool!Coffee was great and on par with our Favorite LA spots. Pricing was aligned for us!Owner seems very involved and hands on. Greeting and thanking every guest. Working the roaster. Dapping up employees as they came on shift.I had my hands full with a little one, and needed to prep the coffee to go…one of their team members, a young athletic east-Asian American guy, jumped into action. “I got you bro!” He was awesome, proactive, and made my experience top tier. Thanks my friend! Life saver! Got the coffee capped, with a stopper, and heat sleeve. Wow! Very cool.Highly reco. Parking lot is a little strange design; so plan for some extra time (it’s a one way path that is a long wrap around).

I was in town to visit my sister & decided to hit up this local coffee shop. The baristas were SO NICE, coffee was THE BEST I’ve had in a while! I’m very picky with my coffee & told the barista I like my coffee sweet but not too sweet & not too milky. I want the coffee to be the strongest taste & he made it PERFECTLY. My kids kept asking him questions about the machine inside, the treats & he was so sweet to them. I HIGHLY recommend this place! The pastries were AMAZING as well!
